Yes, there are issues that Christians have with the internet. Are they correct and well founded? In most cases, yes again. But this does not mean that the internet is not a great place for Christians to travel, and also a great place for Christian Business for those looking to start an online business but are wary. This is certainly a topic that can take forever to discuss as with each Christian there can be very differing viewpoints on what the internet has to offer versus what negative things it has. As a Christian myself, I feel very comfortable using the internet for education, entertainment and business. There are many things online that will cause Christians issues with the internet, but that can be said about almost any media format. There are good and bad out there, it's a matter of what you look for.I have been online since before the internet was even called the internet, and as a result I have seen the nasty side of the online world as well as the good. That used to be a big problem with pornography jumping up on your screen at any time, sites directing you to other sites, and things like that. Today, with very common security tools, the internet is very pleasing to the Christian who wants to be there. Not only are you protected from most of the ugly side of the online world, but there is a very active world that is online aimed just at those with faith in the Lord.
It's a matter of accepting that there may be things online that are certainly not Christian, but as I mentioned, that can be said about TV, radio, books, magazines, and every other communication media out there. Christians who have issues with the internet can really enjoy all it has to offer if they just use the same diligence as they do with TV and books. Even working online is gaining a lot of ground with Christians all over the world.
The world of online home business is growing fast, and there are many Christians who are finding that the internet is a great place to work, and also be able to profess their faith while working with others. It is much the same as the local store that has "God Bless You" on a sign behind the cash. It does have an effect on people, almost always in a very positive way.
